MEDICATION CHARGES
Charges for medications are set at rates which cover the cost of the drugs to the organization plus a small handling fee. This keeps the charges as low as possible. However, in order to do this, we must require payment at the time of service.
Pharmacy charges cannot be carried on account. Medicaid, PACE, and other insurances are accepted for payment. Any payment or co-payment is due at the time your medication is received. It is not our policy to prescribe medication over the phone.
Maintenance medications will be handled during office hours, only if you are under our active care. Requests for certain drugs will be renewed only by the provider serving you. Place calls for long-term prescriptions to the centers during regular operating hours, Monday through Friday, so that your chart can be consulted before medication is ordered.
